We currently collect and process the following information:

● Documents for proof of age (only as required)

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
● You have declared you wish to learn more about our services
● You have entered a competition or a funding request
● You have asked to be kept up to date about news we produce
● You have provided donations to the foundation
We use the information that you have given us in order to provide information, make decisions on funding and provide services
We will not share this information with other organisations
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. - We may process your information if you or your parent or carer (for anyone under the age of 13) have given us permission (i.e consent) for the purposes above. (b) We have a legal obligation. - We may process your personal information if we believe it is necessary for our own compliance obligations.
(c) We have a vital interest. - We may process your information where we believe it necessary to protect your vital interests such as a threat to the safety of any person
(d) We have a legitimate interest. - We may process your personal information where we believe it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests. For example we may use this information to:
- Send users information about our products and/or services
- Diagnose problems and/or prevent fraudulent activities
- Develop and display/distribute relevant marketing content for our users
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep your personal data that is required to carry out the service requested for up to seven years. We will then dispose your information by deleting it from every platform and device it is held on.
Where we do store your information we aim to implement appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the security of any personal information we process.

Children and young people
We use the data we gather from children and young people for the purpose of providing funding to support their activities.
Supporters and donors
At True Venture, we value your privacy and will not share your information with others. Your details are used to process donations and keep you informed about our work through newsletters, updates, and events. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible experience and communication. Understanding your preferences helps us tailor our fundraising efforts for maximum effectiveness.
Staff and volunteers
We collect staff information for legal and administrative purposes and will also use volunteers' personal data for administrative purposes. We also comply with safeguarding legislation and conduct vetting and barring checks in accordance with DBS legislation and best practice. Additionally, we may record personal data to meet legal requirements such as financial transactions to comply with UK tax laws.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
